Mini Bosnia Tour
By car (1–4 people) – €300 total
By minivan (1–6 people) – €320 total
By Mercedes Vito minibus (7 people) – €500 total
Our tour route will introduce you to the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina — an incredibly beautiful, hospitable region that has not yet been spoiled by mass tourism. We will start in the historic town of Trebinje, where narrow streets, stone houses, and market squares preserve the spirit of the Ottoman Empire and Austro-Hungary. Next, we will ascend to the Gračanica Orthodox Church, offering a magnificent panoramic view of the valley and the town — one of the most photogenic spots in the region.
Then, we will visit the Tvrdoš Monastery — one of the oldest spiritual sites in the country, also known for its winery. Here, you can not only connect with history but also taste local wines made according to ancient monastic recipes.
We will conclude the journey at the Vjetrenica Cave — a true natural wonder with underground chambers, lakes, and fascinating limestone formations. This tour is perfect for anyone who wants to gain a deeper understanding of the Balkans, its culture, religion, nature, and authentic life beyond the usual tourist routes.

Mini Bosnia: Trebinje & Old Town
Trebinje is one of the most beautiful towns in Bosnia and Herzegovina, situated in the picturesque valley of the Trebišnjica River, surrounded by mountains. This charming town attracts visitors not only with its historical heritage but also with its incredible natural beauty. Walking through the old streets, you will feel the blend of the Ottoman spirit and Austrian architecture, as Trebinje has experienced many cultural influences throughout its long history.

The Old Town is the heart of the city, where magnificent stone buildings, cobblestone streets, and ancient gates have been preserved. Here, you can admire stunning architecture and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as you stroll past historic houses and shops, and visit local churches and squares. In the evening, when the sun sets behind the mountains, the town becomes especially beautiful: the old buildings look even more mysterious in the soft light, and the river reflects the surrounding nature, creating a unique atmosphere of coziness and harmony.

Trebinje is the perfect place for those who want to enjoy nature and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a traditional Balkan town.

-
Mini Bosnia: Gračanica
Our next stop is the Gračanica Church, located on the picturesque Crkvina Hill above Trebinje. It is an exact replica of the medieval Gračanica in Kosovo and one of the region’s most important spiritual symbols. Visitors can enter the church to see the frescoes and iconostasis, as well as visit the tomb of the poet Jovan Dučić. From here, you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views of the entire town, the Trebišnjica River, and the surrounding hills. You will have time to take photos and soak in the atmosphere of peace and grandeur.

Mini Bosnia: Tvrdoš Monastery
Not far from Trebinje, among the green hills of Herzegovina, lies the ancient Tvrdoš Monastery — one of the main shrines of the Serbian Orthodox Church. Its history dates back to early Christian times, while the current building originates from the 14th century. This is where Saint Basil of Ostrog began his spiritual journey; he later became renowned as a miracle worker and the protector of the Serbian people. The monastery preserves many treasures: ancient icons, the relics of saints, old manuscripts, and a special atmosphere of silence and reverence.

But Tvrdoš is known not only as a spiritual site, but also as a center of traditional winemaking. The monks grow grapes right on the monastery grounds, and in the ancient cellars carved into the rock, the famous Vranac wine matures. During our tour, you will stroll through the vineyards, visit the wine cellars, and learn the secrets of monastic wine production. A tasting of several varieties awaits you — we especially recommend trying the 2012 and 2014 vintages, which have received international awards. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the taste, history, and spiritual depth of the Balkans.

Mini Bosnia: Vjetrenica Cave
Next, we arrive at the final and perhaps most thrilling stop — Vjetrenica Cave, the most famous and largest cave in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its name translates as “windy,” and you will immediately feel the fresh airflow coming from its depths. The total length of the cave is over 7 kilometers, but about 400 meters of well-lit and safe paths are open for visitors. Inside, you’ll discover vast chambers, intricate stalactites and stalagmites, underground rivers, and lakes.

We will walk through the winding cave corridors, explore the underground realm where, according to legend, a dragon resides, and learn about rare animals that live only here, such as the human-like amphibian, the proteus. Don’t forget warm clothing: even on the hottest day, the cave maintains a temperature of around +11°C. Vjetrenica will be a striking finale to our tour — a true adventure in the heart of the underground world.
This concludes our tour, but your exploration of Bosnia and Herzegovina can continue. Our program includes one-day trips to the picturesque Kravice Waterfalls and the charming city of Mostar with its famous Old Bridge. For those who wish to delve deeper into culture and history, we offer two-day trips to Sarajevo — a city with a unique blend of East and West, Christianity and Islam, ancient traditions and modern life.
