You’ve surely watched the show “Heads and Tails” Montenegro. Judging by the comments, everyone simply fell in love with our country. And many, after watching, definitely wanted to visit Montenegro. Not just to visit, but to see the same places the show’s characters did. Especially for you, we’ve developed a unique two-day program following in the footsteps of the popular TV hosts. For transport, if there are no more than three passengers, a convertible is best. As you might have seen from the show, there will be many breathtaking views along the route. This will allow you to take awesome photos for Instagram and shoot super cool videos right from the car!
Day one is a journey through quiet, pleasant places and natural beauty. It’s pure joy from simple things: breathing clean forest air, contemplating nature’s beauty, swimming in the sea, discovering traditional cuisine, and watching the sunset over the Adriatic. Day two is an opportunity to dive into a beautiful life filled with luxury and hedonism. It’s strolls along fashionable promenades, tasting expensive wines, swimming from a yacht in small private coves, and dining with top chefs. The “Heads and Tails” Montenegro tour is a great way to understand which of these worlds truly resonates with you!

“Heads and Tails”: Day One – Yulia Koval’s Path
On the first day of the “Heads and Tails Montenegro” tour, we’ll completely retrace Yulia Koval’s route, which she took with only 100 dollars. We’ll visit many beautiful places. We’ll walk through the pedestrian streets of Podgorica’s old town, where you can do some shopping. We’ll see the fabulous Cijevna River and Niagara Waterfall. We’ll visit the village of Korita and the Sokolovo Grlo mountain gorge. We’ll descend into the depths of the fantastic Lipa Cave and go for a swim near Sveti Stefan island.

-
“Heads and Tails”: Podgorica
Immediately upon arriving in Montenegro, Yulia went for a walk in Podgorica. It’s clear she prepared in advance and knew exactly where to go in the capital. While almost everyone knows about the Millennium Bridge, Hercogovačka Street was definitely a discovery for many viewers. And it’s precisely here that the spirit of old Podgorica has been preserved. Small houses, cozy cafes, green alleys, and cobblestones! That’s why locals call the street the Montenegrin Arbat. This street is definitely an ideal spot for breakfast and a cup of aromatic coffee.

-
“Heads and Tails”: Niagara Waterfall
During the filming of “Heads and Tails” Montenegro, Yulia Koval was unlucky. Filming took place in mid-summer, at the height of a drought, so they couldn’t see the waterfall as it appears in photos. And, of course, in the second half of summer, the waterfall doesn’t look very beautiful. So, we’ll proceed as follows. If your tour takes place before mid-July, we’ll go to the waterfall. In the second half of summer, we’ll replace this stop with Rijeka Crnojevića.

-
“Heads and Tails”: Grlo Sokolovo Gorge
Along an incredibly beautiful mountain serpentine road, we’ll head towards the Albanian border. The road to Korita village passes through mountain passes where olive trees grow. At times, we’ll descend into valleys with endless vineyards. And gradually gaining altitude, we’ll find ourselves on one of the mountain peaks of the gorge. On the green mountain plateau, where the small village of Korita is located, we’ll leave the car and go for a walk along a forest path to reach the edge of the Sokolovo Grlo cliff after a while. Standing on the edge of the cliff, you can take a deep breath and shout across the gorge. Half a minute later, an echo will bring you a reply from another country.

-
“Heads and Tails”: Dubirog Restaurant
After a walk on the mountain trail in the fresh air, you always want to eat. That’s why Dubirog restaurant is perfect. The owner, Slavko, is known throughout the area for his excellent homemade pršut and cheese. And his traditional dishes on the Roštilj are respected even by Podgorica residents.

-
“Heads and Tails”: Lipa Cave
Lipa Cave was discovered about thirty years ago, but work to reinforce the vaults for safety only finished in 2017. We descend to the cave entrance on a cute tourist train. The main halls of Lipa Cave resemble cathedral vaults, only instead of frescoes, its ceiling and walls feature majestic patterns created by nature itself. Stalagmites, reaching upwards, mesmerize with their whimsical shapes. Stalactite curtains resemble theatrical drapes. The entire surrounding space creates the illusion of being somewhere on another planet. In such places, you just want to stand, silently admire the beauty, and quietly thank nature for its generous gifts. Personally, I’m very glad that the scriptwriters of “Heads and Tails” Montenegro chose the cave as one of the locations.
-
“Heads and Tails”: Sveti Stefan Island
As soon as we pass the Dinaric Alps pass, a stunning panorama of the Budva Riviera opens before us. Of course, we’ll stop to capture these masterful views. We descend to the Adriatic coast and, along the road through Miločer Park, arrive at the beach in front of Sveti Stefan island. In the “Heads and Tails” Montenegro show, the host swam in the village of Pržno. We can also go there or stay right under the castle walls on the sandy spit.

-
“Heads and Tails”: Panorama of Lovers
This stop wasn’t in the “Heads and Tails” Montenegro show, but as a bonus, we’ll climb to this viewpoint – specially created for love story photoshoots. The Panorama of Lovers is among the top 5 most beautiful viewpoints in Montenegro.

-
“Heads and Tails”: Sunset on the Adriatic
You can stay overnight anywhere, but the best option, of course, is the Sveti Stefan area. From the window of any apartment on the hill, you can see a perfect touchdown.

“Heads and Tails”: Day Two – Anastasia Ivleeva’s Path
On the second day of our journey, we follow in Anastasia Ivleeva’s footsteps. Early in the morning, we head to Vista restaurant for breakfast. The restaurant’s terrace offers the best view of Budva Old Town.

-
“Heads and Tails”: Budva Old Town
Budva Old Town is the smallest of the three Venetian towns on the Adriatic coast. Although its area is relatively small, it concentrates many monuments from various historical eras. The oldest of them were built during the time of Ancient Rome. Immediately after breakfast, we’ll go for a walk through the old town. We’ll explore it thoroughly. We’ll show and talk in detail about all the sights. We’ll climb the citadel and pass through a secret passage to the fortress wall. And finally, we’ll exit directly to the sea gate, where a beautiful motor yacht will be waiting for you, just like in the “Heads and Tails” Montenegro show.

-
“Heads and Tails”: Yacht Trip and Swimming at a Secret Wild Beach
And after a walk through old Budva, we’ll embark on a motor yacht trip along the Budva Riviera. Only here, away from the bustling coast, will you truly appreciate the beauty of the Adriatic Sea. Warm, clear water that rejuvenates both body and soul when you swim in it. Cozy, secret coves where silence and peace reign. Soft Mediterranean sun that gives you a perfect, even tan. We’ll approach Sveti Stefan island from the sea, swim into the old caves behind Mogren beach, circle Sveti Nikola island, and stop at one of the secret beaches. Undoubtedly, this is the most beneficial part of the “Heads and Tails” Montenegro tour program. If you wish, we can add diving to the program.

-
“Heads and Tails”: Porto Montenegro and Lunch at Chef’s Table Restaurant
Following in Anastasia Ivleeva’s footsteps, we’ll immerse ourselves in a world of beautiful living and hedonism. Porto Montenegro, though no longer the only one, is still Montenegro’s main luxury resort. Here you can stroll through boutiques, admire beautiful yachts majestically swaying on the waves in the marina, and, of course, savor dishes from Montenegro’s best chefs. And Chef’s Table restaurant can be considered a special attraction of Porto Montenegro. We highly recommend having lunch there!

-
“Heads and Tails”: The Serpentine Road Where 100 Dollars Are Hidden
And again, stunning views. This time of the Bay of Kotor, specifically the Kotor and Tivat bays. The road is among the top 3 most beautiful panoramic roads in Montenegro and is an attraction in itself. It was here, at the 18th turn of the serpentine, that Anastasia Ivleeva hid a stash with a 100-dollar bill. And even though the money was found long ago, the hiding spot remains. We’ll dig it up, take a victorious photo for Instagram, and bury it back again.

-
“Heads and Tails”: Mount Lovćen
And finally, at the end of our “Heads and Tails” Montenegro-themed tour, we’ll ascend Mount Lovćen to a viewpoint offering a view of the Stone Sea. In fact, to say the view from here is fantastic is an understatement. The surrounding nature strongly resembles the scenery from The Lord of the Rings movie. This place is also famous for musician Alan Walker filming one of his music videos here (the song Dark Side). An ideal spot to watch the sunset.

We’ve designed the “Heads and Tails” Montenegro tour route to showcase how diverse and multifaceted our country is. It’s not just an opportunity to discover Montenegro for yourself. It’s not just a chance to see it through the eyes of popular TV hosts. Most importantly, it’s an opportunity to discover Montenegro within yourself!
