-
Maxi Montenegro: Kotor Old Town
We pick you up from your hotel in the morning and begin our tour by exploring Kotor – a medieval town on the Adriatic coast. The city walls, soaring upwards, immediately catch your eye. This defensive structure is built of stone, reaching heights of 20 meters in some places and winding along the mountain slopes. The city wall is an important part of Kotor’s cultural heritage.

During our tour, we’ll stroll through picturesque squares and narrow Venetian-style streets. Kotor’s Old Town boasts many churches and cathedrals, but St. Tryphon Cathedral certainly stands out among them all.

Cat lovers will fall for this city, as there are so many of them here! There’s a special spot in the square where they reside. So, a walk through these streets will allow you to enjoy not only historical sights but also observe the playful and friendly cats that add to the charm of Kotor’s Old Town.

-
Maxi Montenegro: Perast Old Town
A beautiful, small, authentic town in the Bay of Kotor. It will enchant you with its history and Baroque architecture. From here, you can enjoy beautiful views of the bay, stroll along the promenade in a peaceful setting, and capture photos and videos as souvenirs.

-
Maxi Montenegro: Our Lady of the Rocks Island
From Perast, we’ll take a boat to Our Lady of the Rocks Island, an artificial island in the Adriatic Sea with a 17th-century church of the same name. Its facade is adorned with Venetian-style elements. Inside, you can see ancient frescoes and icons that reflect the region’s rich religious heritage. Our guide will share many interesting facts and legends associated with this place.

-
Maxi Montenegro: Oyster Farm
Next, we’ll stop at a local mussel and oyster farm. You’ll thoroughly enjoy tasting fresh seafood. Afterwards, we’ll head for lunch at the magnificent restaurant Nevjesta Jadrana!

-
Maxi Montenegro: Mount Lovćen
The culmination of our Maxi Montenegro tour is the route to the summit of the famous Mount Lovćen. Here, unbelievably beautiful views of Montenegro’s mountain range unfold. We’ll visit the mausoleum of the great Montenegrin ruler, poet, philosopher, and bishop Petar Njegoš, located at an altitude of 1657 meters.

-
Maxi Montenegro: Njeguši
An authentic small village nestled in a mountain-ringed valley. You’ll feel the Montenegrin spirit of tranquility and unity with nature. The main “attraction” is Njeguši prosciutto. So, we’ll definitely have a tasting and also get to see the process of creating this delicacy.

-
Maxi Montenegro: Kings’ Road
A historic route passing through Montenegro’s picturesque landscapes. This path connects several key locations associated with the Petrović-Njegoš dynasty, which ruled Montenegro for several centuries. Rulers of Kotor traveled this famous route to receptions at the palace in Cetinje. The serpentine road, connecting two of Montenegro’s most renowned cities, offers incredible views of the Bay of Kotor.

-
Maxi Montenegro: Gorazda Fortress
Gorazda Fortress is one of the region’s unique fortifications. It was built by Austro-Hungarian authorities in the late 19th century. The fortress is located at an altitude of 452 meters above sea level. During the First and Second World Wars, the fortress was used as a defensive structure. Today, Gorazda Fortress is a popular tourist attraction. The fortress is surrounded by dense forests, making its visit especially scenic. Here you can take many beautiful photos with panoramic views of the Bay of Kotor and the mountain landscapes.

-
Maxi Montenegro: Cable Car + Tobogganing (optional)
To diversify your tour and add some activity, you can take a ride on the cable car. There’s also a toboggan run there – a ride on a controlled cart on rails. From here, stunning panoramic views of the Bay of Kotor open up. Tobogganing costs 8 euros per person. Cable car tickets for adults are 13 euros one way and 23 euros round trip.

-
Maxi Montenegro: Way Home
We’ll head home after sunset. At the end of the day, we’ll return you to where we met in the morning or drop you off at any convenient location!
