For fans of the acclaimed series, Croatia has gained special significance, as many of its episodes were filmed against the natural and architectural beauty of Split and Dubrovnik. The aristocratic, fairytale-like atmosphere of these two Croatian cities — with their ancient houses and mighty fortresses — proved to be the perfect setting for creating the magical world of Westeros.
We invite you to join an exciting private tour of Croatia’s best attractions connected to the legendary story. Settle comfortably into the seats of our modern, spacious vehicle, and let’s begin our journey into the fascinating world of “Game of Thrones”!

-
Game of Thrones: Cavtat
After a couple of hours driving along the Adriatic coast, we will arrive in the cozy Croatian town of Cavtat. Here, we’ll make a short stop to relax and breathe in the fresh air filled with the scent of pine trees. It’s also a perfect place to recharge with a refreshing swim in the turquoise sea.

-
Game of Thrones: Mount Srđ
Next, our road leads us to Mount Srđ, at the foot of which the red rooftops of Dubrovnik shine in the sun. This is where our Game of Thrones tour begins. On this mountain stands an old fortress, a national symbol of Croatia’s defense. Its ancient, partially ruined walls can also be seen in the series — naturally, in a digitally enhanced form.

We will take the funicular up to the top of Mount Srđ to admire Dubrovnik from a bird’s-eye view! You will instantly recall the Game of Thrones scenes featuring the impressive views of King’s Landing. It will be fascinating to compare the panorama of the real city with the fictional one from the series and see what was changed or added!

We have a visit planned to a very popular venue — Panorama Nautika Restaurant.
This Mediterranean restaurant is an excellent place to enjoy delicious seafood dishes. You can have a full meal or simply relax with a cup of coffee and dessert while admiring the magnificent views from the terrace.

-
Game of Thrones: Old Town Dubrovnik
Now it’s the perfect moment for a leisurely walk through the pearl of the Adriatic — Dubrovnik. This ancient city is magnificent on its own! And when you look at it while recalling scenes from the series, your heart fills with genuine delight.

Our guide will show you all the memorable locations that were used during filming! He will lead you along the Old Town fortress wall, where the “Gold Cloaks” once kept watch.

You will stop by the Dominican Monastery, where you’ll recall the bustling marketplace scenes of King’s Landing.
We will then walk down the staircase from which Cersei Lannister began her famous walk of atonement.
The impressions you’ll take away from visiting Dubrovnik will be truly unforgettable!

The culmination of our Game of Thrones tour in Dubrovnik will be a visit to the Game of Thrones Museum! Here, you will have the chance to sit on the Iron Throne and feel like the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms.

-
Game of Thrones: Fort Lovrijenac
From the Old Town, we will head across the bay to Fort Lovrijenac. This formidable fortress once protected the Croatians from Venetian invaders. In Game of Thrones, it served as the residence of the King of the Andals. This is where the Iron Throne was located — the very object for which countless characters lost their lives in the fictional world of the famous saga.

-
Game of Thrones: Lokrum Island
We will take a short boat trip to Lokrum Island, a protected nature reserve. In the Middle Ages, a Benedictine monastery stood here, and today only its picturesque ruins remain. This location was used to film the Qarth gardens for the second season of the series.

The island is also impressive for another reason — among its lush greenery and the remains of ancient walls, beautiful peacocks roam peacefully, and fluffy rabbits run freely.

-
Game of Thrones: Trsteno Arboretum
A romantic finale to our Game of Thrones filming locations journey will be a visit to the village of Trsteno, located not far from Dubrovnik. This enchanting place, filled with blooming plants, fountains, and stone pavilions, inspires admiration in every visitor — regardless of whether they are a fan of the series or not.

We will recall how Sansa Stark loved to stroll among the fragrant flowers. Then we’ll walk to the pavilion where Olenna Tyrell enjoyed her tea with aristocratic grace.
You will vividly imagine Varys listening to his little birds among the trees, and Oberyn Martell writing letters home by the fountain.
The Game of Thrones tour will quite literally transport you into your favorite series!

The Game of Thrones tour will undoubtedly bring you a wealth of fascinating impressions and become a wonderful addition to your holiday in Montenegro. In just one day, you will not only discover many attractions in a neighboring country, but also immerse yourself completely in the world of your favorite TV series — giving you goosebumps from excitement!
