In the town of Rijeka Crnojevi\u0107a, he often stopped to rest at his residence. Here lies one of Montenegro&#8217;s most famous panoramic views \u2013 the bend of the Rijeka Crnojevi\u0107a. You&#8217;ll find it on all promotional posters for group tours to Skadar Lake. Unfortunately, large bus tour routes don&#8217;t actually include a visit to this spot. We&#8217;ll make several stops for photo breaks. Optionally, you can take a boat trip on the river and Skadar Lake. Its first mention dates back to 1482. During that period, Turkish conquerors forced the rulers of the state to seek a new place capable of providing protection from invaders. The foothills of Mount Lov\u0107en sheltered the fugitives. As a result, the city began to develop actively. The Cetin River gave its name to the new capital. During this tour, we will pay special attention to the architecture and history of the city. The proud ruler wished to be buried on the summit of Mount Lov\u0107en. He wanted to admire the beauties of Montenegro, dear to his heart, even after death. Interestingly, a chapel was built here by locals during his lifetime.
